Lemon Pepper Pasta

Lemon Pepper Pasta

Ingredients 1 cup pasta (of your choice)
1.5 Tbsp salt-free lemon pepper sesasoning
1 Tsp lemon juice
1 Tsp lime juice
1 dash salt
1/2 Tbsp Butter or olive oil
1 handful of spinach (optional)
1 Tsp garlic powder
1 Tsp onion powder
1 Tsp red chilli flakes (optional)
1/4 Cup of mozzerella cheese
A protein of your choice (optional)

Instructions

  1. cook pasta using instructions on the box (if you cant do this, you should probably give up now ngl)
  2. drain pasta and place it in bowl with the butter. Stir until the butter is completely melted and distributed.
  3. add spinach and stir until wilted
  4. add seasonings to desired flavours.
  5. top with cheese
  6. add whatever protein you desire, if you would like.

“Expert” Tip do not add salt if your lemon pepper pasta is not salt-free
(i may or may not have learned this the hard way)

About This Recipe

This recipe is one of my favourites. Honestly, i never measure any of my seasonings, so they’re just estimates. I would eat a lemon like an orange if it wasn’t so bad for my teeth, so this recipe might be on the more sour side.

To add protein, cook it as you desire (i prefer the airfrier) and add it to the top. I generally meal prep chicken, so I might defrost some, cut it up and add it on top. Salmon also does really well with this recipe. If you want to dress it up some more, add some chopped tomatoes, red onion, and paprika. This recipe is so quick and flavourful, i love it so much.
